Pragya Bhattacharjee is currently the Head of the Department. She is actively involved in committees like the Cultural Committee, Photography Cell, and Quiz Committee, and also serves as one of the leaders in the Yoga Club and Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Pragya is dedicated to the Bodhi Publication Sub-Committee.

In her role as Officer in Charge, she manages exams for Calcutta University. In October 2023, she played a significant role in organizing the Creative Sattva Fair as a member of the committee. Until 2023, Pragya was an active member of the National Service Scheme. She actively participated in an excursion to Virsingha Village as part of the Vidyasagar Bicentenary Celebration Committee. Her diverse contributions to both academic and extracurricular activities highlight her commitment and engagement.
