I have done my B.A. in Sanskrit (Hons) from Bethune College, Calcutta University, in 1997 securing first class and M.A. in Sanskrit from Jadavpur University, securing first class (Gold Medal) in 1999. I have done my B.Ed. from Satyapriya Roy College of Education, Calcutta University in 2006. I teach Snriti-sastra, Artha-sastra and Dharma-sastra.

I have been teaching Sanskrit Honours and General since 2006. I have taught at Vivekananda Womens College, Behala, as a Part Time Teacher between 2007 – 2010 and in Vivekananda College, Thakurpur from 2006 till date. I have also taught at Satyapriya College of Education, B.Ed. college during 2007 – 2010 as Guest Lecturer.
