Department of Statistics

Our Statistics Department was established in 2002-2003 as general subjects. In the year 2014 Statistics hons. was introduced and we have been getting a great response from the students. We have started with eight students, significantly most of them have completed their masters and engaged in eminent work communities.
Since then, we were blessed with students working with Indian Statistical Institute, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Chennai Mathematical Institute, International Institute for Population Science, Tata Medical, Indian Institute Technology (B H U), Calcutta University, Visva-Bharati University, Delhi University so on and so forth with pride.
The teachers and students of our department have been trying to create a friendly and healthy atmosphere for the students to bloom significantly.
